FUE : Recovery, Downtime & Activity Guidelines

A structured, phased approach to post-procedure healing.

The 4th Generation FUE Differences

The 4th generation Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) technique represents a refinement of the hair restoration process. It utilizes a precision-engineered, small-diameter punch to extract individual follicular units, minimizing trauma to the surrounding scalp. This is paired with a no-touch insertion method that carefully places each graft, reducing manipulation and promoting optimal healing.

Patient Benefits:

  • Minimized Wound & Bleeding: The smaller, more precise punch creates less surface trauma compared to older extraction methods.
  • Faster, Smoother Recovery: Most patients experience a quick and uneventful recovery period, returning to their daily routines without significant discomfort.

  • Sun Protection: Avoid direct harsh UV exposure on grafted areas for 1-3 months.

Essential Care Principles After FUE

  • Sun protection: Loose hat for 1-3 months when exposed to harsh sunlight.
